Alvin Ramirez
Alvin Ramirez was born in the Philippines and lived there for his first ten years. He now resides in the Chicagoland area where he teaches and mentors the youths of today. Alvin trained in hip hop, contemporary and breaking since the age of 17. Through his performing/competition and training years, Alvin lived in the competition world winning numerous overall first place awards and earning scholarships throughout the country. He has performed and opened up for several top recording artists such as Ciara, Ludacris, Soulja Boy, Twista, Mims, Tyrese and many more. Alvin has also been showcased in a top Las Vegas show and was a choreographer for the internationally broadcasted MLS All Star Game Half-time Show, featuring top recording artist Lupe Fiasco on ESPN. He has also choreographed for the NBA Detroit Pistons dance team Automotion, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, University of Michigan and as well as University of North Carolina. Two of his greatest accomplishments were being able to compete on Randy Jackson’s Americas Best Dance Crew Season 2 on MTV and also being an assistant coach on MTV’s Made Show.Alvin continues teaching all over the country while he sets award winning hip hop routines for numerous dance studios and companies. He is also a faculty for Center Stage Dance Academy in Huntley, Illinois and Tracey and Heather’s Dance Synergy in Springfield, Illinois. When he is not focusing on his dance career, he continues to grow his clothing line, He[ART] Clothing, Inc. Alvin is currently self-training through different arts and disciplines and continues to search for more knowledge.


Amie Boyle
Amie Boyle began her studies at Town & Village School of Dance Under the direction of Luanne Franklin, Amie developed a deep-rooted love for the art of hoofing. As a teen, she was invited to study under tap legend Germaine Salsberg at Broadway Dance Center in NYC. Amie is incredibly indebted to the Masters of this great American art form with whom she has had the opportunity to study with and is continually influenced by: Dianne Walker, Savion Glover, Jay Fagan, Omar Edwards, Avi Miller & Ofer Ben, Van “The Man” Porter, and Debbie Dee. Several of Amie’s students are currently pursuing Broadway careers and working dance professionals in the industry. Just recently one of her students landed his first Broadway show, opening this Spring in New York City. She has also had students featured in music videos with Laura Bell Bundy, professional stage productions with The Lexington Theater Company, and Broadway Live events at The Lexington Opera House. She is thrilled to be working with Celebration Talent!

Anna Marie Dobbins
Anna Marie has won numerous regional and national titles in the styles of jazz and hip hop. She trained at her mother’s studio “Linda Dobbins Dance” as well as The Edge, Millennium and Debbie Reynolds in Los Angeles. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance and Choreography from Birmingham-Southern College. She has won numerous high score and choreography awards and was invited to perform and choreograph for the the Aberdeen Youth International Festival in Aberdeen, Scotland. Her work can be seen with numerous studios, middle schools, high schools and colleges around the country. She is currently on staff with Celebration Talent and Platinum Dance Competitions and has also been an intern for The Pulse Convention. Anna Marie is also a professional actress working the Birmingham, Atlanta, New York and Los Angeles Markets. She has been signed with numerous talent agencies including MSA Dance Agency and can be seen in films and television shows such as Footloose, Lifted, Georgia Sky, Vampire Diaries and Being Mary Jane. April Henehan
April Henehan graduated from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in Jacksonville, Florida. She has earned degrees from both Florida State University and Jacksonville University and has also received numerous scholarships allowing her to continue her studies with elite choreographers across the nation. She has performed works set by Alonzo King, Ronen Koresh, Michael Foley, Mia Michaels, Eddie Toussaint, and Bill Evans. She has performed roles such as 'Lead Chinese Doll' and the 'Nutcracker' alongside the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, and can also be seen as a Las Vegas finalist on Season 4 of the hit TV series "So You Think You Can Dance." She has been a guest choreographer for LaVilla School of the Arts, Jacksonville Giants, Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, and the Teen Jacksonville & Miss Jacksonville USA pageants. Her photography was awarded by Dance Spirit and her choreography was showcased on tour with American Idol Season 12 winner, Candice Glover and featured in Dance Teacher magazine. April continues to teach in the Jacksonville area as a faculty member and guest teacher. She is excited to be back with Celebration Talent this year!

Jean Michelle Sayeg
Jean Michelle Sayeg began performing on Star Search, international commercials and film from age nine in tap, jazz, ballet and gymnastics. Jean Michelle trained under Le Studio & San Francisco Ballet which led to a soloist position with State Street Ballet for three seasons. Her multifaceted career includes performing internationally in Taiwan with State Street Ballet & throughout the US in Broadway’s National Tours of Cats and Camelot. She has been featured in Marie de la Palme’s award winning aerial silk ballet Le Coeur Illuimine, productions at Hollywood Bowl, LA Opera, and Lincoln Center. Jean Michelle was a company member in San Francisco’s Smuin Ballet for four seasons, featured as a principle in Carmen, Medea, Petit Mort and originated new work in Trey McIntyre’s Oh Inverted World! Her piece Tie Up & Cover, created on the company of Smuin Ballet, was selected as a finalist for the Palm Desert Dance Under the Stars Choreography Festival in 2012. Most recently, she joined director Cameron Watson’s new web series Breaka Hip, airing in 2014. Upon graduating from the Leap Program at St. Mary’s College of California, with a Bachelors of Performing Arts, Jean Michelle was invited to teach and choreograph in South Africa. She choreographed an original ballet at the Cape Academy of Performing Arts and set a production of “South Side Story” (based on the original West Side Story) in the townships of Philippi and Gugulethu. Latest productions include choreography for Arcadia Stage’s CURTAINS in Southern California, and As The World Goes Round In at the Interplayers Theatre in Washington. Ms. Sayeg is Pilates Certified, a recipient of the Music Center Spotlight Award, the 2006 Lester Horton Award, and is a proud member of Actors Equity, Sag-Aftra & Agma.

Larry Piscitelli
Larry is thrilled to be working with Celebration! He has been a professional performer for the past 15 years, appearing in shows across the US and Europe including Guys and Dolls, Godspell, 42ndSt., and Le Cage Aux Folles, as well as many others. He has danced for both Norwegian and Costa Cruise Lines, performed at Carnegie Hall, and appeared on television in Sex and the City, Law and Order and Gossip Girl. More recently, Larry has appeared in promotions for Charmin and Optimum Online, as well as in a PSA for Stand Up for the Cure for Cancer. He recently received rave reviews for his performance in Less Cuban Than Ever, an off-Broadway show at the Laurie Beechman theater. Larry has choreographed and taught all over the US for the past 8 years and is now working on both Long Island and in upstate New York as a teacher/choreographer. His most recent work includes assistant choreographer for a children’s production of Mamma Mia! Currently, Larry is a member of the TapOle’ dance company and a proud member of the Actors Equity Association.

Marisa Dorchock
Marisa Dorchock moved to Los Angeles, California from Rochester Hills, Michigan, to pursue her dance and acting career. Upon moving to Los Angeles, she signed with top dance agents at Go 2 Talent Agency. She has been honored to be a part of many feature films, television shows, commercials, and live shows. To name a few, she can be seen dancing in several episodes of Victorious on Nickelodeon, Camp Rock 2, Harold and Kumar 3D, K-SWISS and Just Dance National Commercials. Not only has Marisa had the opportunity to travel around the country performing in several live shows, but she has also had the privilege of performing internationally. For one year, she lived and danced in Tokyo, Japan for Disney, and later, traveled to Macau, China for a New Year’s Eve Charity Event.Marisa has choreographed several episodes for the hit television series, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, as well as PBS’ kid show, Shushy-Bye Baby. Her choreography can also be seen at several studios, high schools, and Universities around the country. Internationally, she has choreographed for the Dance World Cup event held in Italy. Marisa is also currently pursuing her acting career in Los Angeles. You can see her acting in the Nissan National Commercial Campaign, as well as, TV series, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. She has been inspired by so many dancers, teachers, and entertainers throughout her life, and wants to pass that knowledge on to help push people towards fulfilling their dreams and purpose.


Mauricio Fernandez Robles Gil
Mauricio Fernandez Robles Gil, a native from Mexico, received his early training at Estudio de Danza Antoinette de Puebla. He has been offered numerous scholarships to some of the most prestigious ballet schools and companies in the nation. He has trained with the Boston Ballet School, Orlando Ballet, Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet in New York City and the Milwaukee Ballet. Mauricio has performed with Compania de Danza Antoinette in Mexico, Idyllwild Arts Academy, Inland Pacific Ballet, Orlando Ballet and Western Chicago Ballet. He was a Tap Gold medalist at Intrancefest Tec de Monterrey and Confederacion Inter-Americana de Profesionales de la Danza (CIAD). Mauricio's ballet and contemporary repertory includes: The Nutcracker, Snow White, LeCorsaire, La Bayadere, Esmeralda Pas de Six, Romeo and Juliet, Raymonda, The Fairy Doll, Dracula, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, and many more. Mauricio has taught and performed as a guest artist with the City Ballet of Iowa, Springfield Ballet, Shenandoah Ballet,The Dancer's Pointe in Winchester,KY, Albany Berkshire Ballet in Paula Weber's Carmina Burana and Hinsdale Ballet Theater in Australia and Odyssey by Darren McIntyre. Mr. Fernandez has been recognized by AGMA as an Artist of Extraordinary Ability and is currently a Company Dancer with the Kentucky Ballet Theatre and a teacher at the Kentucky Ballet Theatre Academy and Gotta Dance Studio Inc.

Menina Fortunato
Menina, a Portuguese and French Canadian, began her professional career at the age of 12 in Vancouver. Currently based in Los Angeles, Menina has performed extensively in North America, South America, Asia & Europe on world tours with legendary Earth Wind & Fire, latin superstar Luis Miguel and Korean Pop Sensation Rain (Bi). Film and television credits include America's Got Talent, Nickelodeon's Spectacular!, House Bunny, Star Trek: Enterprise, ALIAS, The Jerry Lewis Telethon, Celebrity Fit Club and a variety of other films and shows. She has appeared in commercials for Pepsi with Britney Spears, Nationwide with MC Hammer, Sprite, and many others. As a choreographer, she has worked on VHI's Celebrity Fit Club, The Cheetah Girls - One World Premiere Party, Sprite Commercial, PopKomm in Germany, music videos for Nicki Foxx, Bryton McClure, Penfifteen Club & Raza Obrera, NBA Toronto Dance Pak & The New York International Music Festival. She has also choreographed Luis Miguel's World Tour. Menina has had the privilege of judging and teaching thousands of dancers across North America with many other conventions and competitions. Most recently, she has worked in production and casting for America's Got Talent and The X Factor. She produces annual dance events including The Hollywood Summer Tour - an elite dance career intensive and Juste Debout Canada - one of the world's largest street dance festivals.

Michael Lomeka
Michael Lomeka is fresh off Lincoln Center’s Broadway National Tour of The King and I. He began his dance journey through breakdance. Michael graduated from The Juilliard School with a BFA in Dance. Also, he obtained an MFA in Choreography. Michael has performed on Broadway in The King and I. Other Musical Theater credits include A Christmas Carol choreographed by Susan Stroman. Michael has toured The United States, Europe, and Asia with Mikhail Baryshnikov and his White Oak Dance Project. Mr. Lomeka’s Las Vegas credits include Celine Dion’s A New Day with choreography by Mia Michael’s and Cirque du Soleil’s Viva Elvis choreographed by Tabitha and Napoleon.

Welcome to Celebration Dance Convention...a whole new way to experience the star treatment! We are hosting our convention in select cities this Fall - join us for a one day convention with experienced, approachable, fun faculty focused on learning in a positive and nurturing environment. Call or email our office anytime with questions. Hope to see you on the dance floor!
Students
The convention will feature three* age and ability levels:
Juniors (Ages 7-10)*
Teens (Ages 11-13)
Seniors (Ages 14 & Up)
Students will be placed in the class according to age on the day of convention. Teachers may choose different levels for students. You may swap any of your student's wristbands on the day of the event by visiting the registration table.
*6 year old dancers may attend at studio owner's discretion. In cities with lower attendance, there will be 2 levels: ages 12 & under and 13 & over.
Tuition
Tuition for all students is $115 (7 classes included). 2021 Celebration competitors attend at the discounted rate of $85!
Teachers
One teacher attends free with every 5 paid students. Additional teachers may attend at a discounted rate of $50. Teachers may observe or participate in all levels/classes.
Observers
Observer wristbands are available to purchase in advance for $20 per person or $22 per person at event, which will allow access into all ballrooms. Dancers and teachers may not attend as observers. Advance wristbands are available until the Wednesday before event and can be purchased in our online store-click here!
Scholarships
A variety of scholarships, award certificates and prizes will be awarded to selected dancers chosen by the faculty during the entire convention.

Photography & Videography is strictly prohibited by convention observers. Studio Directors may request a pass to take photographs (non-flash) as well as video for marketing or educational purposes.

She has appeared in commercials for Pepsi with Britney Spears, Nationwide with MC Hammer, Sprite, and many others. As a choreographer, she has worked on VHI's Celebrity Fit Club, The Cheetah Girls - One World Premiere Party, Sprite Commercial, PopKomm in Germany, music videos for Nicki Foxx, Bryton McClure, Penfifteen Club & Raza Obrera, NBA Toronto Dance Pak & The New York International Music Festival. She has also choreographed Luis Miguel's World Tour. Menina has had the privilege of judging and teaching thousands of dancers across North America with many other conventions and competitions. Most recently, she has worked in production and casting for America's Got Talent and The X Factor. She produces annual dance events including The Hollywood Summer Tour - an elite dance career intensive and Juste Debout Canada - one of the world's largest street dance festivals.

Michael Lomeka
Michael Lomeka is fresh off Lincoln Center’s Broadway National Tour of The King and I. He began his dance journey through breakdance. Michael graduated from The Juilliard School with a BFA in Dance. Also, he obtained an MFA in Choreography. Michael has performed on Broadway in The King and I. Other Musical Theater credits include A Christmas Carol choreographed by Susan Stroman. Michael has toured The United States, Europe, and Asia with Mikhail Baryshnikov and his White Oak Dance Project. Mr. Lomeka’s Las Vegas credits include Celine Dion’s A New Day with choreography by Mia Michael’s and Cirque du Soleil’s Viva Elvis choreographed by Tabitha and Napoleon.

Welcome to Celebration Dance Convention...a whole new way to experience the star treatment! We are hosting our convention in select cities this Fall - join us for a one day convention with experienced, approachable, fun faculty focused on learning in a positive and nurturing environment. Students
The convention will feature three* age and ability levels:
Juniors (Ages 7-10)*
Teens (Ages 11-13)
Seniors (Ages 14 & Up)
Students will be placed in the class according to age on the day of convention. Teachers may choose different levels for students. You may swap any of your student's wristbands on the day of the event by visiting the registration table.
*6 year old dancers may attend at studio owner's discretion. In cities with lower attendance, there will be 2 levels: ages 12 & under and 13 & over.
Tuition
Tuition for all students is $115 (7 classes included). 2021 Celebration competitors attend at the discounted rate of $85!
Teachers
One teacher attends free with every 5 paid students. Additional teachers may attend at a discounted rate of $50. Teachers may observe or participate in all levels/classes.
Observers
Observer wristbands are available to purchase in advance for $20 per person or $22 per person at event, which will allow access into all ballrooms. Dancers and teachers may not attend as observers. Scholarships
A variety of scholarships, award certificates and prizes will be awarded to selected dancers chosen by the faculty during the entire convention.

Our convention closing show with a faculty and assistant performance as well as student performances of material learned during classes and scholarship winner announcements. All are welcome, no observer bands required.
Photography & Videography
Photography & Videography is strictly prohibited by convention observers. Studio Directors may request a pass to take photographs (non-flash) as well as video for marketing or educational purposes.

Event Status Update
Celebration Talent will be prepared to host our 2021 events in accordance with all prevailing local and state guidelines. We successfully and safely hosted several remix events over the summer utilizing a combination of safety procedures, process changes and personal responsibility. If necessary, for the 2021 season, we will adhere to the following:
- Block Scheduling - your studio will be given a time allocation based on the number of routines and will come in and perform all routines, allowing us to re-sanitize between studios as well as minimize contact.
- Sanitation - dressing rooms and Marley flooring will be sanitized between studios using EPA approved chemicals. Venues will be doing additional cleaning and sanitation in the audience and common areas.
- Guest Limitations – spectator limits per dancer. Because of various state and venue guidelines, this will vary from event to event but will be communicated in advance.
- Live Streaming - all competitions will be live streamed so those who can't attend can watch from home.
- Studio Adjudicated Awards - studio adjudications will be announced at the end of each studio block and all adjudicated awards will be given to studio representatives.
- Virtual Overall Awards - All Special and Overall awards will be presented at the end of the entire competition and will be live streamed. Studios can opt to have owners (or other designated representative) present to receive all awards or have them shipped directly to your studio or home after the competition.
- Music Uploads - All music will need to be uploaded in advance of the competition to minimize contact.
- Programs – Digital programs only available for purchase on our website.
- Costuming – Students and studios can choose not to wear a costume in the interest of safety. No points will be deducted. They can also choose to wear masks, gloves, etc. on stage if they choose. No points will be deducted for any personal protective equipment.
- Limited Contact – Celebration customer-facing staff will be wearing masks and will minimize contact with participants and spectators.
- Other Precautions - additional measures as required/imposed by the venue and state guidelines.
