Alexis Roberts
Alexis Roberts grew up training competitively in jazz, contemporary, hip hop, musical theater, ballet, tap, tumbling, and cheerleading at Dance Craze in Washington, Missouri. Aleix moved to California to pursue her collegiate dance career at Chapman University. She served as the President of the Team Shaka hip hop crew and Co-President of the 12x National Champion Dance Team. She graduated with a BFA in Dance Performance, earning awards for her choreography and contribution to the department.Alexis is a professional dancer with Go 2 Talent Agency based out of Los Angeles. She can be seen performing in Kylie Hughes’ music video, “Leave It Alone” and the short film, “Come On Eileen”. She also choreographed Roisee’s music video “Ride My Wave”. Her passion for teaching and choreography has enabled her to work with numerous dance studios, high school and college dance teams, cheerleading teams, and theatre programs. She travels nationally to choreograph live entertainment for Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. Most recently, she choreographed Pump-Up Pep Rally, Monster Mash-Up with The Shrieks Band, Rockin’ Holiday Hits, Club KI, and Coven. Roberts is beyond excited to be working with Celebration!


Amie Boyle
After meeting the acclaimed choreographer Germaine Salsberg, Amie was invited to study under this tap legend at Broadway Dance Center in NYC. Continuing to hone her craft under the tutelage of many Masters of this great American art form, she has worked with and been greatly influenced by private study with not only Germaine Salsberg but also Omar Edwards, Van “The Man” Porter, and most recently Germaine Goodson at Steps on Broadway.Several of Amie’s students and dance partners are current working professionals pursuing Broadway careers and have performed in such works as: The Radio City Rockettes, Hairspray, Legally Blonde, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Beetlejuice, Titanique, and Tammy Faye, to name a few.
A highlight of Amie’s career was personally receiving a VOP Award from the legendary Frank Hatchett. Amie is extremely proud to serve as an Educate-HER, teaching dance classes for Laura Bell Bundy’s foundation, Womxn of Tomorrow. She continues to freelance choreograph, teach, and consult for studios throughout the United States. Fun Fact - Amie appears in Steve Zahn’s feature film “She Dances” as a dance competition judge!


Anna Marie Dobbins
Anna Marie has trained at her mother’s studio “Linda Dobbins Dance” as well as The Edge, Millennium and Debbie Reynolds in Los Angeles. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance and Choreography from Birmingham-Southern College. When Anna Marie turned 13, she developed an interest in acting. At 15, Anna Marie had the opportunity to expand her career by signing with Jpervis Talent Agency, an agency representing talent across the Southeastern U.S. She worked in this market for multiple years and received movie roles in films such as Footloose and Lifted, as well as roles on television shows such as Being Mary Jane and the Vampire Diaries. Commercial work includes Royal Caribbean, Nickelodeon, Nike, Exxon, Cracker Barrel and Ford. Anna now resides in Los Angeles and is a working professional with leading roles in over 30 television shows and feature films. Her latest filmed aired this past holiday season, A Royal Christmas On Ice and she also has 2 movies set to come out this year on various networks. When she has the chance, she also loves to mentor young actors and dancers to go for their dreams! She continues to choreograph and teach all over the country.

Kayla Bowlin
Kayla Bowlin grew up in a small town in Illinois and began dancing competitively at the age of 4. She is trained in many styles of dance including jazz, lyrical, ballet, hip-hop, contemporary, tap, open, and jazz-funk. At age 20, Kayla signed with The Movement Talent Agency and moved to Los Angeles where she pursued a professional dance career while training at The Edge and Millennium Dance Complex. After moving back from Los Angeles, Kayla found her love for teaching back at her home studio Centerstage Dance Company in Dixon, IL. where she has been teaching and choreographing for the competitive program since 2017. Kayla choreographs for other studios in her area, teaches master classes, and travels as a staff member and choreographer with Celebration Talent Competition. She specializes in contemporary, lyrical, and jazz. Throughout her career as a teacher, her students have received accolades such as the highest levels of adjudications, 1st overalls, grand national champions, scholarships, and dancer of the year title winners. Her 2019 team was also a final nominee for The Industry Dance Awards. Kayla’s choreography has been recognized on both regional and national levels for its artistic excellence. Her favorite thing about teaching is instilling the passion and fundamentals she has gained over the years into her students. The most rewarding part is watching her students grow and achieve goals they never thought possible!

Larry Piscitelli
Larry is thrilled to be working with Celebration! He has been a professional performer for the past 15 years, appearing in shows across the US and Europe including Guys and Dolls, Godspell, 42ndSt., and Le Cage Aux Folles, as well as many others. He has danced for both Norwegian and Costa Cruise Lines, performed at Carnegie Hall, and appeared on television in Sex and the City, Law and Order and Gossip Girl. More recently, Larry has appeared in promotions for Charmin and Optimum Online, as well as in a PSA for Stand Up for the Cure for Cancer. He recently received rave reviews for his performance in Less Cuban Than Ever, an off-Broadway show at the Laurie Beechman theater. Larry has choreographed and taught all over the US for the past 8 years and is now working on both Long Island and in upstate New York as a teacher/choreographer. His most recent work includes assistant choreographer for a children’s production of Mamma Mia! Currently, Larry is a member of the TapOle’ dance company and a proud member of the Actors Equity Association.

Menina Fortunato
Menina, a Portuguese and French Canadian, began her professional career at the age of 12 in Vancouver. She has performed extensively in North America, South America, Asia & Europe on world tours with legendary Earth Wind & Fire, latin superstar Luis Miguel and Korean Pop Sensation Rain (Bi). Film and television credits include America's Got Talent, Nickelodeon's Spectacular!, House Bunny, Star Trek: Enterprise, ALIAS, The Jerry Lewis Telethon, Celebrity Fit Club and a variety of other films and shows. She has appeared in commercials for Pepsi with Britney Spears, Nationwide with MC Hammer, Sprite, and many others.As a choreographer, she has worked on VHI's Celebrity Fit Club, The Cheetah Girls - One World Premiere Party, Sprite Commercial, PopKomm in Germany, music videos for Nicki Foxx, Bryton McClure, Penfifteen Club & Raza Obrera, NBA Toronto Dance Pak & The New York International Music Festival and has worked in production and casting for America's Got Talent and The X Factor.. She has also choreographed Luis Miguel's World Tour. Menina has had the privilege of judging and teaching thousands of dancers across North America with many other conventions and competitions.
Menina has been published in over 400 media outlets including MSN, Billboard ABC, NBC and Fox and is thrilled to be working with Celebration. She is the director of The Hollywood Summer Tour - an elite dance career intensive and is also a dance mentor and podcast host. As a mentor, her clients have booked Superbowl performances, as well as Nike, Ford and Gap campaigns. Her mentees have also been signed by top agents.


Michael Lomeka
Michael Lomeka is fresh off Lincoln Center’s Broadway National Tour of The King and I. He began his dance journey through breakdance. Michael graduated from The Juilliard School with a BFA in Dance. Also, he obtained an MFA in Choreography. Michael has performed on Broadway in The King and I. Other Musical Theater credits include A Christmas Carol choreographed by Susan Stroman. Michael has toured The United States, Europe, and Asia with Mikhail Baryshnikov and his White Oak Dance Project. Mr. Lomeka’s Las Vegas credits include Celine Dion’s A New Day with choreography by Mia Michael’s and Cirque du Soleil’s Viva Elvis choreographed by Tabitha and Napoleon.

Tera Lee Pollin
Tera-Lee is currently on the teaching faculty at Steps on Broadway, Marymount Manhattan College, CAP21/Molly College, and Canyon Ranch Lenox. Some of her favorite shows and experiences include American Dance Machine with Wayne Cilento (Dance Captain, The Joyce Theatre), Mamma Mia! on Broadway (Dance Captain), Hot Feet (Broadway), Urban Cowboy (Broadway), The National Tour of Spamalot (Dance Captain), The Wiz at La Jolla Playhouse, Swing!, The Apollo Theatre's Club Harlem, and working with David Parsons on the Festival of Music in San Remo Italy. Film/Television credits include The Smurfs Movie, Dark Horse, Old Dogs, Saturday Night Live, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and Fashion Rocks. Tera-Lee has also performed live with Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Kanye West, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Gloria Gaynor, The Lonely Island Boys (Featuring Akon), and Brian McKnight.

Welcome to Celebration Dance Convention...a whole new way to experience the star treatment! We are hosting our convention in select cities this Fall - join us for a one day convention with experienced, approachable, fun faculty focused on learning in a positive and nurturing environment. Call or email our office anytime with questions. Hope to see you on the dance floor!
Students
The convention will feature three* age and ability levels:
Juniors (Ages 7-10)*
Teens (Ages 11-13)
Seniors (Ages 14 & Up)
Students will be placed in the class according to age on the day of convention. Teachers may choose different levels for students. You may swap any of your student's wristbands on the day of the event by visiting the registration table.
*6 year old dancers may attend at studio owner's discretion. In cities with lower attendance, there will be 2 levels: ages 12 & under and 13 & over.
Tuition
Tuition for all students is $150 (7 classes included). 2025 Celebration competitors attend at the discounted rate of $120!
Teachers
One teacher attends free with every 5 paid students. Additional teachers may attend at a discounted rate of $50. Teachers may observe or participate in all levels/classes.
Observers
Observer wristbands are available to purchase in advance for $24 per person or $26 per person at event, which will allow access into all ballrooms. Dancers and teachers may not attend as observers. A wristband is required for all observers over the age of 2. Advance wristbands are available until the Wednesday before event and can be purchased in our online store-click here!
Scholarships
A variety of scholarships, award certificates and prizes will be awarded to selected dancers chosen by the faculty during the entire convention. Scholarships received may only be used for a future event through a Studio account. Scholarships are non-transferable and may only be used by the recipient if registering under the Studio with which they won.
